The Trout Parade in Livingston Manor promises to be another very fishy event, with wacky marching bands, funny floats, processional puppets, musical performances, and whole lot of fun.

The festivities and stage performances are free and open to the public.
Folks should arrive early to get parking on the streets surrounding Main Street.

This all-female group will be making their debut this year performing dance music from around the globe.

Featuring some amazing puppet classics, including a 15-foot tall wizard and an 8-foot long fish.

The Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce raised $4,200 for the LMCS art and music programs as part of the 2009 Trout Parade’s fundraising activities..

Stroll down Main Street and enjoy artwork created by LMCS students in storefront windows.
Parade-Day Offers
Look for green and yellow balloons to find parade-day discounts and special offers at participating merchants.

Music, Food and Arts and Crafts aplenty. Expanded Food Court offers a variety of specialty parade fare. Selections from local arts and crafts vendors on display.
Collectible Parade t-shirts and posters on sale.
11:45 - 1:00 pm
Live Music and entertainment on Main Street. Performances by fiddlers from Catskill Puppet Theatre and Karen Hudson of Karen Hudson River Band. Stilt walking by Tannis Kowalchuk of NACL and face painting by Miss Sunshine.
1:00 pm
The 7th Annual Trout Parade steps off, led by Grand Marshall Austin “Mac” Francis, author of Land of Little Rivers and Town Supervisor Edward Weitmann, the day’s honorary Sturgeon General!
2:00 pm
Rain barrel auction in Renaissance Park immediately following the parade. Proceeds to benefit student scholarships.
2:30 pm
Duck Race fundraiser hosted by Livingston Manor Fire Department.
3:00 pm on
Main Street alive with unique shops, restaurants and the CAS Art Center.
