The Trout Parade in Livingston Manor promises to be another very fishy event, with wacky marching bands, funny floats, processional puppets, musical performances, and whole lot of fun. Livingston Manor is celebrating its 200th birthday this year, so the parade will have a little bicentennial flair too!

The festivities and stage performances are free and open to the public.
Folks should arrive early to get parking on the streets surrounding Main Street.

The Trout Parade is a Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce-sponsored event that raises funds to benefit the Livingston Manor Central School’s Arts and Music Programs. Creation Awards
If you've ever considered being IN the parade, the 2009 Trout Parade Creation Award Program will award up to $250 to groups or individuals creating unique floats and costumes, thanks to a Community Event Grant from the 2009 Sullivan County Bicentennial Committee.
To find out more and get an application, view the and download a . Applications are due by April 26, 2009. Awards will be announced on May 4, 2009. Guidelines and applications are also available at the CAS Arts Center, 48 Main St., and Morgan Outdoors, 46 Main St.

A crowd pleaser! Returning with their zany blend of music and costumes

This all-female group will be making their debut this year performing dance music from around the globe
- The Catskill Puppet Theater
Featuring some amazing puppet classics, including a 15-foot tall wizard and an 8-foot long fish.

The Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce raised $4,400 for the LMCS art and music programs as part of the 2008 Trout Parade’s fundraising activities..
