Fashion Designer Sylvia Heisel to Judge Trout Parade Costumes

Livingston Manor, June 1, 2004

What is a New York fashion designer doing judging costumes at Livingston
Manor's First Annual Trout Parade and Arts Festival? "She's doing me a big
favor!" remarks Gerard Ilaria, Trout Parade volunteer and self proclaimed
Sturgeon General. "Sylvia has a second home in the Town of Rockland, and
has been a loyal customer of Catskill Morning Farm and supporter of
Livingston Manor - I figured it couldn't hurt to ask!"

Sylvia Heisel was born in 1963 in Princeton, New Jersey and spent her early
years in Nairobi, Kenya before returning to the United States. She attended
boarding school in Connecticut, and Barnard College before committing
herself to her lifelong dream of a career in fashion. With little formal
training, Sylvia's first designs were soon carried at some of New York's
most exclusive stores including Henri Bendel and Barney's. Her first full
collection premiered in 1988, and her understated line of women's luxury
clothing is currently carried in over 100 specialty stores across the
country.

Ms. Heisel will join fellow judges Lisa Ramirez of The Times Herald Record,
Ted Waddell of the Sullivan County Democrat and Sara Lee of WVOS in handing
out the cash and merchandise prizes for Best adult and children's costumes,
Best float, and Best group among other categories at the day long parade,
art show, and musical event.

Livingston Manor's Trout Parade and Arts Festival takes place all day, rain
or shine on Saturday June 12th, Main Street Livingston Manor. Parade step
off is at 1:00 P.M.

For more information, or to enter a float or
march as a group, call 914-799-0229.
