The Trout Parade in Livingston Manor promises to be another very fishy event, with wacky marching bands, funny floats, processional puppets, musical performances, and whole lot of fun.

Main Street, Livingston Manor

The festivities and stage performances are free and open to the public.




Folks should arrive early to get parking on the streets surrounding Main Street.

The Trout Parade is a Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce sponsored event. Funds raised for the 2013 parade will benefit the Arts and Music Programs of the Livingston Manor Central School, and Catskill Art Society as the producer of the parade. Business and individual donations, along with the sale of t-shirts and posters, all go to this great cause!

Donations

The Livingston Manor Chamber of Commerce raised nearly $2000 for the LMCS art and music programs as part of the 2010 Trout Parade’s fundraising activities.

Student Art on Display
Stroll down Main Street and enjoy artwork created by LMCS students in storefront windows.

11:30 - 3:00 pm
Music, Food and Arts and Crafts aplenty. Expanded Food Court offers a variety of specialty parade fare. Selections from local arts and crafts vendors on display.

Face Painting by Miss Sunshine the Clown.

Library Book Sale in Renaissance Park. New and used adult books, children's books and assorted VHS tapes will be for sale; prices up to $1.00 for most items.

Instant Portraits by Wilkes & Bernard Photography at the CAS Arts Center.

Collectible Parade t-shirts and posters on sale.

11:45 - 1:00 pm
Live Music and entertainment on Main Street. Pre-parade performances include music by Little Sparrow and stilt walking by Tannis Kowalchuk and Brett Keyser of NACL Theatre.

2:00 pm
Post parade entertainment includes a Rain Barrel Auction on the Main Street Stage immediately following the parade. The repurposed plastic barrels were sanded and prepared by TriValley Team Conservation students, painted by Liberty Art Students, and sealed by SC BOCES Automotive students. The project was funded by the Catskill Watershed Corporation.

There will also be a Closing Party for the SHHH! CAS Silent Auction Benefit at the CAS Arts Center from 2-4pm, featuring the work of more than 35 local artists.
